Shipping & Return/Exchange policy

We strive to ensure that every purchase at our website is seamless. We take great care in delivering our products and adhere to the highest quality standards and hence follows the following process for pleasant customer experience. For all orders within India, we offer free shipping for orders above Rs. 1,000/- (Rupees One Thousand ). For deliveries within India all the relevant taxes and duties are included in the price of the product listed on the Website or may be specifically mentioned at the time of checkout. Please note that no cash on delivery is available on our website. For international deliveries, we charge a standard amount for shipping which shall be mentioned at the checkout. Duties & Taxes for international orders are not included in your order and are over and above any shipping and handling charges paid at checkout. Most countries charge duties on imported items which are levied at the time of port entry and they vary based on the destination country and the products imported. You will need to pay the applicable duties and taxes directly to the shipping agency (DHL, FedEx, etc.) at the time of your order delivery after you receive an invoice by the shipping agent. All international VISA and MASTER credit cards can be used to make the payment for your international shipping orders. In case of international orders if a customer refuses to pay the Duty as mandated by the respective country of shipment and doesn’t collect his/her order from the shipping agency (like Fedex, DHL etc.) then Jorasa will not be liable to refund any amount for such orders. We attempt to deliver all our domestic orders within 15-18 business days. Most domestic orders are delivered within 10 business days The delivery time for different products may vary based on the processes involved. Please provide a mobile number that you are available at, and your complete shipping address including the pin-code. This will help us ensure smooth delivery of your order. We attempt to deliver all our international orders within 15-28 business days. Most international orders are delivered within 14 business days. The delivery time for different products may vary based on the processes involved, and a rough estimate for the dispatch of such products can be found on the product page at the time of purchasing. Due to unforeseen circumstances, it’s possible that a designer may not be able to produce your order piece. In such cases, you might be offered same amount back. At times orders can get delayed for reasons outside of our control. We use the most reliable and leading courier partners.

Return/ Exchange

1. Exchange can be done within 3 days for the date of delivery

2. Only products which are unused, unworn, unwashed, undamaged, with all its labels and tags completely intact, in original packaging and eligible for exchange.

3. Please mention your name, address, number, email and order id on the parcel along with the size needed.

4. Please do note, that only size exchange is allowed once per order that too only with another size in same product 

5. Size exchange is available (in case of size exchange, the customer is eligible to get a bigger or smaller size

7. The cost of shipping to & fro (reverse pickup as well as shipping charges) for the product is to be borne by you.

My garment does not fit me. What can I do?

If the product does not fit and you would like a new size, please request for a size exchange with the customer service team within 48 hours of receiving the product. Our team will try its best to help you for any size exchanges, alterations subject to availability.

Exchange/Return not accepted if Customer does not like the material or colour of the dress, we suggest that the customer should read the product description & have a look at all the pictures before ordering. You can also call us to know more details about the product if needed.

Exchange/Return  for size not accepted if the product is washed and worn.

Purchase made from SALE section are not eligible for any kind of return or exchange for size . All the sale, discounted, brought with a coupon and gift voucher purchases are non returnable, non refundable & non exchangeable.

Products that are on sale or discounted, or purchased with a coupon or gift voucher are not eligible for returns, refund or exchange. Please go through the size chart carefully for on-sale products.

If you have received the damaged product or a wrong product, please send it back to us with your order number. After sending the product back to us, & delivered to us we shall send you a fresh piece.

There are some items that are Made to order which are not eligible for returns. The return and exchange policy for such product is clearly mentioned on the product page.

As a company policy we do not provide refund/return on any product once sold. Once the JORASA pieces are sold they can be ONLY exchanged for replacement in a bigger or a smaller size (provided the aforementioned terms and conditions are met).

If the product is not from sale section & eligible for size exchange, you may write to us at within 2 working days or 48 working hours of delivery to request an exchange.

Once acknowledged by the JORASA team during next working day, please send the product back to us yourself, we do not have a reverse pickup facility for now. Please do not forget to take acknowledgement receipt from the courier person about the number of products you are dispatching with his signature and mobile number. JORASA will not be responsible for any lost shipment.

The cost of return shipping is at the customer’s expense and is non-refundable.


We ship to US, UK, UAE, Australia, Hong Kong, South Africa, Qatar, Oman, Malaysia, Singapore, Mauritius, Afghanistan and South Africa.

What are the international shipping costs and duties?

For all international orders from outside India, orders under INR 40,000 (approx. USD 540) are charged INR 1500 per kg (approx. USD 30) and orders above INR 40,000 are shipped free.

Please note that custom duties and taxes will be charged at the time of delivery based on actual duties charged by your country of delivery address.

Can I return, exchange or cancel an international order?

Please note that international orders are not eligible for returns/cancellations or exchanges.

How long will it take for my order to reach me?

From the time of shipping – it will take about 15/20 days for your international order to reach you.

What payment methods does JORASA allow for international shipping?

You can use all international credit cards to make the payment for your international shipping orders.

Frivolous complaints

In the event of frivolous or baseless complaints or requests regarding the quality or content of the products, Jorasa reserves the right to take necessary legal actions against You and You will be solely liable for all costs incurred by Jorasa in this regard.


We have made every effort to display the colors of our products that appear on as accurately as possible. However, as computer monitors, tablets, and mobile devices vary, we cannot guarantee that your monitor’s display of a color will be completely accurate. There may be slight variation in color.

Wash Care Instruction

To avoid fading of color, following method of washing is recommended-
  • All Are Dry clean Products.
All laundry symbols have a specific meaning and certain products need special care, the same has been mentioned specifically on the display (with the display of the particular product). All our products are handcrafted by traditional craft persons in India, resulting in each product being unique and slightly different from each other. Let’s not think of an irregular weave or print or a stitch as a defect. Handloom by definition means a glorious uncertainty when it comes to uniformity.
